Maybe come back from the encore break with The Blackout, do a handful of SOI tunes there. Go off for the second encore and come back and do a few hits. Finish with The Little Things.
Seeing the Little Things live was one of the most moving experiences I've had in music. It was a great closer.
  2. I'm hoping if they bring back EBW it's the full band version... really can't stand the piano version any more

I think anything less than 4 songs (2 from each album) would be a disappointment for fans who have had no tour for 9 years and 2 albums. Insufficient tracks from I/E on a tour centred on JT would leave them wide open to accusations of having become a nostalgia act

As they are playing in markets they've never played in, & another one they haven't been to for 13 years, they'd likely be working with people/companies they haven't worked with before. I can see this is likely to cause delays, especially in non-English speaking countries, where communication problems could come up from time to time. Total guess though

Most people in Australia wouldn't care that they don't play soi or soe songs. They weren't hits

If you look at videos of the Saitama shows, the main stage is much lower than the Other stadium shows of that tour.

Saitama isn't a very wide field, it may only just squeeze that JT screen in there. It's possible that they had to modify some of the stage, that is actually wider than the screen.

There was also a smaller PA system.

My question: are people happy with the "recycling" of the JT Tour yet again? Undoubtedly I think we're all glad for the fans in this part of the world that finally get to see the band again after too long. But were people expecting something different/unique, rather than something they did in 2017 already?
I'm not particularly happy that it's recycled. But happy that U2 is finally visiting again, so will take anything I can get. I traveled overseas to see both arena tours, so a bit different to most Aussie fans. JT is actually the only tour I've missed since ZooTV, so it'll be nice to plug that gap at least.

Was hoping for an arena tour though. Many for my friends in Oz that haven't seen U2 in a smaller, more intimate venue.

The internet does kinda ruin any surprises though. Pre-internet, & everything would feel like new. ZooTV was totally new for me, even though it had been touring around the world for a couple of years.

Hopefully there will be quite a few changes though, making room for the two newer albums. Not holding my breath though.
  9. They could start with JT and than do I&E with the key videofootage and story of those tours
