  1. ticketmaster is definitely better to buy tickets from, last time I had to buy tickets from ticketek the servers completely crashed and the presale was rescheduled to the next day
  2. Although I've now used an IP hide tool and also entered the address of my Airbnb in Melbourne, I'm automatically redirected to the German app store as soon as I try to go to the app store app on my iPhone. In the app store app is no option to change the country. I can only log into the website of the app store but here I can't download apps.
So I don't know how to get the Ticketek app, but if it does not work proper, I don't need it anyway.
The TM is is the one that can be downloaded in the app store, for the German region? I'm using the same login date here and for the Australian TM store.

    Hahaha that is promising
  4. It was a complete mess, however to be fair the next day ran extremely smoothly so they may have learnt their lesson!

Yes your German details will work with Australian ticketmaster. You can still try to get the ticketek app if you are using apple, but for me on android there is absolutely no difference between the app and the full website, and I still can't access mobile tickets from the app
  6. I mean if I can load the Aussie tickets with the TM app which is obviously for the German region only. I can’t switch my iPhone from the German to Australian region.
  7. I would probably leave your phone on German region, have you set up an account with ticketek with your German details without any problems?
  8. You can change the region. Just sign out of the App Store and sign in with an Aussie Apple ID. Download the app and switch back.

Just did that for the Ticketmaster US App we need next week.

You cant't load foreign tickets with the german TM App.

Yes I had no problems with entering the German address
  10. I think you'll be fine then, at worst you will have to go to the box office on the day of the show if you don't get an sms message, just make sure you bring the credit card you used to buy the tickets

Yes that worked, but the TM can’t be opened in Germany. The app is doing geo blocking on my iPhone. Not necessary now to open, it’s not 72hrs prior to the show just info,
  12. Hi, I've asked in the pre-sale thread but maybe here would be a better place to ask:

I'm from the Czech Republic and I have huge problem accessing the Ticketek website. I keep getting the "Access to website blocked" message when I try to get ticket info or try to buy a ticket (to a non-U2 concert).

I've used VPN but it did not help. My husband checked all the settings and even checked the website's code but we are not any wiser. There's error code 456 - obviously it can be anything...?

Does anybody have the same problem? How can it be solved?

If I don't find a solution until Tusday I can forget about the trip to Australia because I won't be able to buy tickets...
