Rehearsals finished October 24 there. Instruments and equipment was packed up by the techs on the 25th and transported by truck to London where it was flown to New Zealand. The band took some time off before moving to Auckland from there. The bad did work on the show on the 25th but it was hair / wardrobe etc as the instruments were in transit. Rather than using the rehearsal space that day they were working out of Bono’s home.
Thanks for summarising it for us. I had seen a few bits and pieces on your site and twitter but couldn’t remember the exact dates just remember 3 weeks was mentioned. Looks more like 2 weeks as a full band with those dates but that to me is still enough if they were putting the hours into those days plus they don’t have any new songs to learn live just old ones to relearn which seems a much easier task.
  2. Hope One stays out the setlist
  3. one not there is a surprise
  4. - Intro: Whole Of The Moon
    - Sunday Bloody Sunday
    - New Year’s Day
    - Bad / America (snippet)
    - Pride (In The Name Of Love)

    -Joshua Tree-

    - Angel of Harlem
    - Elevation
    - Vertigo
    - Even Better Than The Real Thing
    - Every Breaking Wave
    - Beautiful Day
    - Ultra Violet (Light My Way)
    - Love Is Bigger Than Anything In Its Way

If it stays that way, then where do we put The Miracle and Stuck In A Moment?
  5. My guess : Stuck is for one night only. November 22.

The Miracle is either out or in rotation wile AoH or Elevation.

That would make sense vis-à-vis Stuck In A Moment
  8. Was Beautiful Day the 2017 version? Or the regular one

Also, I would have stuck (no pun intended) Angel of Harlem before EBW, because at least they have this kinda acoustic arrangement that goes together
  9. What do people make of the rehearsed Setlist in general? I know there’s always ways we can think of to make it preferable to us as individuals but to me on the whole I’m very excited about the prospect of that Setlist. Seeing EBW and Love is bigger there is really encouraging the band having some faith in newer material. Angel of Harlem hasn’t been played at a tour show for 4 years missing JT17 and E&I, ultraviolet coming back in as well after missing last year. I wouldn’t try and argue the band have went right out there comfort zone but I think they’ve managed to come up with something very good and I hadn’t even got round to mentioning them playing SBS properly, Bad and TJT yet, loads to look forward to.
