    According to Weird Al, yes.

  5. At the first show in Phoenix in 2015, they brought up a fan that did not wanna leave the stage. Earlier in the afternoon my girlfriend and I were waiting for the band outside, bono’s car pulled up and pulled into the lot and I figured that meant he wasn’t coming out. So I sleuthed around the building ended up inside of it ( I watched sound check, but that’s a whole different story). Bono ended up coming outside and signing, and he met my girlfriend, she had the opportunity to speak to him for a minute, told him that I played guitar and it was my lifelong dream to play with the band. He asked her my name, and if I knew in gods country, she gave it and said yes. Cut to about seven hours later, Bono is walking around the stage saying “I’m looking for a guitar player” “are you the dude?” The man he pulled up was in fact not the dude. The guy he pulled up tried to play the song way too fast, jumped around like a maniac, and wouldn’t leave when you were supposed to. And I will always family believe that that was supposed to be me that day
  6. Me too. What was it, what the woman said?
  7. The woman that helped Bono in Central Park was dissing New Yorkers for not being 'nice'. She was a better person. She was helping out. It just illustrates the social differences in the US.

  8. they never stopped doing this.. another 'U2start fact'
