1. I know.. this is a forum, lot's of different opinions.. it's just remarkable that some think it's the best version and I think it's awful. I bought a bootleg called U2 duets, probably 25 years ago and it had this track on it, Bad/The first time live from Wembley Stadium.. back then, I think I only had the Dublin '93 tape (with a great version of Bad) and maybe one other Zoo TV bootleg, so I was really looking forward to this Wembley version and then this violin just totally ruined the song... they could have had a cat in heat onstage and it would have had the same effect. But yeah, the above story may have increased my dislike for this particular version.

I didn't like it at first but then I got into it and I think it works. It might not be the best ever but it's one of the most extraordinary for sure.
  3. Same here. I've been to over 300 concerts in my life but I swear to God I've never felt so much emotion than the moment I heard Bad segue into 40 in Amsterdam 4 (before it became a common thing for the fourth nights in late 2015).
  4. Anaheim and Rotterdam 1992 are my favourite ZooTV versions of Bad (along with Wembley 1993).

that emotion was probably because I was leaving.. had to catch the last train to the north and just left my seat at the end of Bad. It was a bit of a shame to miss the last song, but I didn't really mind.. just glad to go home after a great week. And 40 certainly isn't my favourite live song (it should have stayed in the 80's)

Haha yeah having you leaving the building definitely was a highlight of that epic night...

I was there also and it was wonderfull. You coud feel the whole Ziggo Dome shiver when you heared the bassline of 40. The other nights they closed with BD and compered to that you hit the jackpot with Bad/40.

I also liked the Bad/Heroes like the played Amsterdam1 2017
  8. Are you guys dutch yourselves or you visited for the show?

Must have been the loudest show I ever saw, ears were ringing for 2 days afterwards..

It was really loud indeed - my kind of thing!

Me and the missus just visited for the show (plus 3 days of tourism). @Remy was our host and we had such a great time - Amsterdam is an incredible city and we fell in love with it. The great, great Ams4 gig was just the icing on the cake!!

I live in Amsterdam and was lucky enough to score tickets for nights 1,3 and 4. So when I arrived at the 4th show I was wearing these foam earbuds. Could only take them out safely after Until the end of the world..

And I love loud too! (as you might have noticed)
