"Spam" - not really relevant to the topic...

It just seemed like you'd suffered a random attack of verbal diarrhoea or something!

a way with words, you might say...

But yeah, let's get back to the topic

One thing that occurred to me half an hour or so ago - I was watching someone do a cover of Metallica on YouTube, and realised how much I prefer Edge to any metal guitarist, not only with regard to style, the guitar parts he comes up with and like how he goes about his business on stage, but he can actually make a guitar sing

    It always sounds amazing.
  7. oh i know. nobody does it better. Johhny Buckland from colplay does an excellent job and although far behind Edge, he is pretty good with that too.

True - I love the guitar work on Fix You (one of my favourite songs), although I think that may have something to do with the fact it's got Edge written all over it...

I think it's got a bit of a Miracle Drug feel to it, like just that epic shinyness...

Seems to me that the lads in Radiohead are the closest to "Edge" when it comes to innovative sounds and textures.

Jonny from Coldplay is good too. And Tom Morello has always been great with getting 'different' tones from his guitars and effects.
  11. good points anstrat...are we ever gonna know your real name??? lol or did i miss that? and ya harry fix you is great!

Yep. "Fix You"... And the The Killers... There are "Miracle Drug"-esque parts on "When You Were Young"
