  1. So this is brilliant. Bono knows they are going to nail the timing. That little finger point.

  2. Wtf it sounds like someone is whisteling through Bad. Is it even a guitar?
  3. This Whistle comes from a Synth, and is pretty annoying to me.
  4. The synth was used a bit too extensively during some Vertigo performances. It sounds terrible.
  5. It's very annoying. Haven't heard this during Bad this tour.
  6. The whistling synth was ear-piercingly high and loud, live. Unfortunate, but it could not destroy Bad for me if it tried.

  8. It was louder yesterday than the earlier tour performances
  9. So leaving my dignity at the door, I've seen this tweet roll past my feed a few times recently, and I have absolutely no idea what it means.
  10. That guitar is slightly (and I mean very slightly) out of tune. Enough to ruin the listening for me.

I agree with everyone else that the synth/whishtle/whatever is really "bad".

Promoters and ticket companies always hold a good few tickets when they go on sale, and then drop them the days leading to shows in order to fight scalpers. That's called ticket dropping, and usually consists of GA tickets (hence the "GA drop").
