This is how I got most of my Zoo TV and POP tour tickets... Just show up in town the night before show and wait at the box office morning of show. Never failed.
  2. It needs more flash. It needs more flash. It needs more flash. It needs more flash. It needs more flash.

    And no lyric changes.

You need some real confidence to do that though, many of us don't have the balls to do the trip, pay transport and hotels, without a ticket in hand

It always worked, so I never gave it a second thought. And I was on a mission. I actually finagled a pair tickets from WBCN radio station in Boston for Zoo on St. Patricks Day...

Those were the good old days. I can still remember the "camp out over night for ticket days" for Unforgettable Fire and Joshua Tree shows...
  5. Desperately seeking pics and/or video of Iris from Chicago 2. Hoping someone can help?

    Big thanks!
  6. Don't see anything yet, but subscribe to this youtube page:

they've been pretty amazing about getting full shows from fan videos up within a few days.
  7. Sigh.

I never thought I'd actually say Streets feels tired on this tour. The war horse that was always the best and biggest part of their set doesn't feel like that this time around. I think it's because they're putting SO much emphasis on the new songs (which I love) that everything else sort of falls a bit flatter, and it comes too late in the show with a really weird segue. They should bring back Bullet-Running-Streets to see if that lifts it up more.

Right now I still say I Will Follow - Iris - Cedarwood - Song for Someone - Sunday - Raised by Wolves - End of the World is the best part of the set and probably the best part of any U2 set in a long time. Probably since the first bit of ZooTV.

To me Iris is the single best part of the show.
  8. Agreed about Streets. Weird thing to say, but its true.

Pride is topping it for me, at least for the shows I've been at.
  9. The opening chimes of Pride is one of the best-received parts of the show, live. They're REALLY loud, they really ring out, and the crowd goes absolutely crazy. Bono's speeches at the end have actually been tying it in to current events in an impacting way, and I am excited to hear it every night.
