More to come tonight...keep following that Snapchat story! I'll try to shake it up a little bit, even if the band chooses not to

Nice to see that is was good ! and i think that you are THERE the setlist doesn t matter too much

It's not your imagination. They said that probably was the only time they'd play it live. Then we all discussed and some predicted it will appear during the tour in acoustic form - we were spot on
  4. Reading through the thread: No surprises to be found, and we lost the stream just after Beautiful Day. Picked my bedtime perfectly.

EDIT: Just read Matt's summary. Glad you enjoyed it!

Not that I value internet pride as much as this suggests, but I have an old post floating around somewhere that predicted Ordinary Love would be prominently featured as an acoustic selection on the new tour, and a few people shot me down.

If you gave me a "yes or no" as to whether I would have wanted that vs. any other song last night, I'd have said "no, give me anything else" but it went over surprisingly well. LOT of people all over the arena singing along in the chorus.

The GA crowd also did a surprisingly good job with the Iris singalong at the end of the song, it shocked me.

Yeah, someone over twitter said the audience was really digging Ordinary Love

And yes, I remember you were one of those. I wasn't sure it would become a tour staple, but I was sure they would belt it out every now and then.

On an unrelated note, the screen malfunctioned during a good portion of the show last night:

    Bummer
  7. Very interesting. Didn't pay attention to it at all except for when it was lowered right in front of my face. Had to crane my neck too high to see it.

That's what nights 3 and 4 are for, in the seats

Although, at the end of WOWY, there was an amazingly beautiful Joshua Tree visual that I'm glad I caught. Beautiful sunset over a desert with a singular joshua tree.
  8. That Joshua visual has been there since the start of the tour and it's stunning
  9. Been trying to keep as much a secret as possible - and I've done a poor job!

Most of the visuals were brand new to me though. Aside from the occasional pictures here and there, I even managed to keep the Invisible / EBTTRT visuals hidden from view until seeing them live. I knew the concepts, but watching it was wondrous.
  10. For Ross, who went to bed early and missed the encore.

  11. Not enough "oomf" in this tour's encore.

Elevation had The Fly and a very emotional and fitting ending with Walk On

Vertigo had the ZooTV revival and included 40 most times

360 had the rebirth of Ultraviolet, HMTMKMKM, and the laser jacket

    I&E has....more lights?
  12. Yeah, the encore is the most boring part of the setlist
Yeah, yeah, it has Streets, I know, but the speech and the intro just kill the buzz.
