  1. Thanks Tim, and yes, I couldn't agree more about the encore (I have complained about it before). It starts and then it finishes, with very little in-between. There is nothing big and bold to get excited about. You need a bit of volume in that slot.

I shan't be going to sleep early tonight. C'mon night two surprises.

Just saw the setlist for tonite. Haiti (Mon Amour) comes right after MW. Should be on the Meerkat thing. Rihanna supposedly in the house

totally kidding. Sorry, I couldn't resist. Hope I got somebody.

Not funny, I know. Forgive me.
  5. Thanks from me 2 - missed the encore as well... alright, I just wanted to hear what Bono said before ISHFWILF. Thought it was kinda impressive that Paul McGuiness saw the show for the first time.
Like someone mentioned earlier, from the band's perspective last night's show was a succes!
(And after listning to show once more today - see bootleg page - I kinda liked it as well. Elevation + Ordinairy Love were well received by me )

    Later!

    Thank god it's a joke
  7. My heart sank all the way down to my shoes when I toggled that spoiler open.
  8. What are your GA goals tonight, Matt?
  9. The closest U2 will be to me on this leg of the tour... I wish I could have gone to any of the 5 flipping shows they had but it was not to be. They'll come back around in a year or two, right?
  10. I think I'll stick to Adam's side tonight - both times I've been in GA for a U2 show, I've tried to stay close to Edge. But this will give me a nice different vantage point. Not trying to get any "closer" than I was last night...wouldn't mind being just as close, but definitely not fighting for an even better spot. I was so comfortable where I was last night, worked out great.

Couldn't see Bono at all when he was inside the screen for CW, but that's what my nights in the seats are for. The two people from the picture that I commented on earlier (Justin and Laura) will both be in attendance on Adam's side tonight, so I'd like to find them and watch the show with them again. Justin was a very chill guy who knew an awful lot about U2, so he was a blast to talk to.
  11. I've thought about this a bit since Vancouver I and here it is.

Bono's wardrobe does not match the show. It's too lounge lizard for a rock show. Could I interest you in the Chardonnay 1868 sir?

    More vinyl, less Armani.

    Or whatever brand that is.
  12. Oh yeah, he needs a Coco dress
