PS: I might share another single IEM show soon just for fun or maybe another IEM recording from rehearsals. I'm thinking I haven't shared anything from Vertigo tour, maybe that will be it. So many choices......
    Dangle dangle dangle.

As long as it's something you taped or have expressed permission from taper, go right ahead.
  2. And to actually add something to the discussion, and agreeing with Nuno and Chris, matrixes can be a mixed bag. For IEMs, a properly executed matrix will always be better than a single IEM feed. However, properly executing it with alignment + balance + eq + etc is a difficult task. So often, the raw feed is preferable than a poorly executed matrix.

    My two cents!
  3. The Washington DC (1st night) is up now on the show page / audio tab here: https://u2start.com/shows/1995/#!audio

A great recording by @opsopcopolis with a nice clear, balanced and wide sound

If I judge it purely on sound quality, it would surely hit the 4 stars. But as there are quite intrusive and loud near-by screams, I took a 0.5 off to leave it at a very comfortable 3.5 star bootleg.

But what I've heard so far, the bands performance was really strong and intense. I guess Acrobat must have been killer out there

Thanks so much @opsopcopolis for taping & sharing

Have a great time tonight at the second show
  4. Are there also other recordings of the dublin shows of the i+e tour? Setlists with snippets look awesome.
  5. Hmmm... actually I now see that MLK's excellent recording of Dublin 4 is still missing

Will see if I can add it one of these days
  6. There is already one mlk recording in the audio-page of dublin4
Or you did add it faster than your shadow
  7. Not link megaupload..
  8. Because there seems to be some demand, I made a patch for the 2018-06-11 "Live At The Apollo" bootleg
to include Red Flag Day from the periscope feed.

The patch consists of two tracks: OOC + RFD and should allow for seamless transition between the two sources.
Just replace these two tracks with the Out Of Control from the original "Live At The Apollo" files.
(You might want to re-number the tracks of the original Apollo bootleg then )

I slightly tweaked the Red Flag Day from the periscope to make the transition fades as easy as possible.
The main issue with that RFD recording is, however, that it is a mono capture (or "joint stereo").
Unfortunately this couldn't be helped (no peseudo stereo effects) but, as already noted by some, for
a periscope feed recording the (mono) sound is quite remarkable...

Anyway, I hope this patch fills that tiny hole that the webcast left us with.

PS: this patch is available in both (lossy) flac and mp3, to fit the format of your choice.
