My girl saw u2 four times and she complaines its pretty much the same each time (3 different tours)

We have to agree to disagree here, ending with four new songs in the last six is dull, and they aren't exactly new songs to get you moving. It's just going to be a complete anti-climax. Need to see how this pans out, I can see it getting changed.
Just highlights we all go to gigs for different things. Some people preferred I will Follow to Little Things as a closer on the last tour, I thought i will Follow was a terrible closer, a song we’ve all seen before offering nothing to look forward to at the end of the set. Love is bigger is going to be one of the highlights of the show for me and getting 13 at the back of it to sort of replicate the album experience is perfect to me.
  4. OMFG if they walk out to "its a beautiful world" I might die. But doesn't seem like a song they would choose. And doesn't really fit in with Beautiful world > love is all we have left > Blackout
  5. I think with love is all we have left being played over the PA the song prior to that sort of loses its importance. I like it’s a beautiful world though it probably would get me hyped.

I Will Follow at least got the crowd going after One, Little Things, as good a song as it is, made the crowd go limp. It also appropriately closed the JT show, a song that was played at every original JT tour show.

To finish on both those songs is poor, it may offer something conceptually but it's gonna make people want an I Will Follow type song afterwards just to top it off, rather than go out with an anti-climax.
  7. There's nothing particularly exciting about "40", Love is blindness, Wake up dead man, One, Walk on or Moment of surrender and they've all managed to close shows quite will.

That's like saying there's nothing particularly exciting about Zoo Station, Mofo, Streets & Breathe, but they've all managed to open shows quite well.

But again that’s down to the individual, not everyone needs to go out of a gig bouncing. I think Love is bigger is going to offer something spectacular in the live environment, I know people might not know it that well but I think it’s just going to be something special. 13 will be the come down at the end of that, just to calm us all down a bit. I understand you might see it differently but I like new stuff it’s what makes each tour different, even though I rate American soul as the weakest in the current Setlist I’ll still prefer it to I will Follow, pride and one since it’s something different.
  10. There are 7 singles in part one and the first 10 songs in part two are singles so hopefully the casuals will know most of them !!
