    I think they did a good job of it at Dreamforce and the tour versions were still good but they really still need to polish of the chorus with the synths being very prominent and less guitar like the album. I know that’s maybe difficult for the edge live but that’s what would really make it work. It’s still one of my joint favourites on SOI.

    No, it was the reason. That is why it was only played twice at a show. They continued to rehearse it past Chicago and even came up with a more abbreviated version with a different intro. They rehearsed it going into Velvet Dress which Bono thought was beautiful. But Edge was the primary reason they nixed it later because he did not think it was working in the context of the set at the time.

  11. If Willie meant to say that, out of all the SOI songs that return, 75% of the production and visuals are new, I believe it. We have seen the same visuals in SFS used this tour after all. But come on Willie, with 13 regular I+E songs returning, you can't say 75% of the show is new.
  12. Well, hopefully there's three quarters of a setlist somewhere that hasn't been practiced with PAs LOL
