if this is legit i actually don't understand the logic of going back to a song like zoo station or stay to be in the film. both have had their fair share of plays over the years and in this century, and have already featured prominently in two live dvds. Logic has gone right out the window if they are actually playing these songs now to avoid doubling up from 2015

  3. Agreed, one of the best moments of the ZOOTV Sydney video. The segue into Bullet was great. If they do bust this out for Berlin, I think it could be a highlight of the first set. A POP song would put them over the top, I am thinking Gone or Mofo!

looking unlikely as the tour is almost over

I actually agree. Though I love Zoo Station it doesn't fit. Sorry.
  6. Oh man, that would be awesome. I've never been a fan of I Threw a Brick, but A Day Without Me is easily one of the best songs from Boy. The fact that it hasn't been played in, what, 33 or 34 years is absolutely criminal.

Amen - it’s an absolute monster. Sadly it sounds like they aren’t looking to ‘recreate’ this version.
  8. I know where that Willie Williams quote came from that has sparked all this debate of cake from as I read the article but I have to say I think it’s been taken way out of context. I think WW meant that they didn’t want to repeate any of the visual elements so that it is thematically different from the Paris show - which IMO it will be. For those wanting ever more obscure songs to make a debut I think we’re going to be finished without Dirty Day over which Bono will talk about his/their dads (supposedly).

Having seen both Manc shows id day briefly that you need IWF, BD, Elevation, Vertigo, Pride, NYD etc. In there because they were the ones that got most people going at the W/e. I saw plenty of people fairly non-plused with Acrobat and Stay etc.

My only ‘improvement’ would be to put Bad in the encore after Love Is Bigger and before 13. As someone else said it does lack as a show one of the ‘moments’ - I personally didn’t miss the JT songs - but I think Bad is sublime and works in those later slots.
