I mean Bruce and PJ easily manage 30+ in a night
My post is more of, there is no way Bono could do 30 a night on a consistant basis. I would say 23-25 (full songs) is about the maximum Bono could do on a consistant basis at this point.
  2. I think the solution to having both the Innocence section and the songs they recently added to the set was to take out elevation and vertigo, two songs that only loosely fit the narrative and aren’t that great anyway, it was a good decision to drop SBS although I’d say not such a great decision to drop RBW early in the tour. I don’t think I will Follow was essential either my ideal E&I tour set based on only songs they have played on the tour would be this

    1. Blackout
    2. Lights Of Home
    3. Gloria
    4. Beautiful Day
    5. Iris
    6. Cedarwood Road
    7. Raised By Wolves
    8. Stay
    9. Who’s Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
    10. Until The End Of The World

    Intermission

    11. Zoo Station
    12. The Fly
    13. Even Better Than The Real Thing
    14. Acrobat
    15. Best Thing
    16. Summer Of Love
    17. Pride
    18. Get Out Of Your Own Way
    19. New Years Day
    20. City Of Blinding Lights

    Encore
    21. Landlady
    22. One
    23. Love Is Bigger
    24. 13

That's true which is a shame, I think it was a mistake to do TJT30, he should have saved his voice - but then we get back to the argument that then there would be some JT tracks in the set
  4. On a side note, just listening back to Hamburg 2 and I never noticed the lines from LIAWHL in the Zooropa intro with Charlie Chaplin live when I was there...

    Larry too.

I like most of it and think you are pretty close to the realistic ideal for this tour.
My only two tweaks would be:
Staring At The Sun over Summer Of Love
Red Flag Day instead of Gloria
and I know MOST will not agree but....... ready

American Soul over NY Day (Warhorse that has never been a favorite of mine)
    ducks! LOL

I also think Love Is All We Have Left should still open, but that would add another song so in the interest of making this feasible I can see dropping it.
  7. He's aged so much since 2015, don't you think?? Also, seeing him close up his arms seem to by bigger than his legs lol

If we make SOL and SATS rotational as well as Gloria and RFD (which was the case briefly) then you could take AS in the states and we could have NYD in Europe (again which is the case) and that would have sorted out the set for both continents. Maybe what we’re saying in agreement is, the songs they recently added were very welcome in the set but in an ideal world they would have been played alongside a few from the Innocence section at the expense of other songs. Not that I’m complaining with what we’re getting now just talking ideal scenarios.
  9. He's a drummer?

Yes. Botox or whatever that plastic is in his face certainly looks odd.

I really think you have something here. Your post-intermission is perfect, Also I like that you kept Wild Horse as the Part One closer. I love how the screen closes on them heading into intermission. However, I think I would really miss I WIll Follow, but I'd give it up for Out Of Control. But that's more of a selfish wish, as I've never seen OOC live. Also, maybe drop Landlady for Red Flag Day. A fun kick-off to the encore.
  11. 30 songs..it won't happen. I think Edge and Adam may be able to do it, but not Bono and Larry. Bono's energy level and voice are miles better than JT30, but I think from here on out they'll be pacing themselves. Still seeing comparisons to PJ, and I've lamented setlist disparity between the bands myself- but Eddie Vedder and Matt Cameron haven't had health issues like Bono and Larry have, at least not to my knowledge
  12. Well... and Eddie Vedder does not really bother if he will sound good. His voice is now outrageous, let's not compare Bono and Eddie, come on!
