Joshua Tree Tour 2019
Legs (1): New Zealand, Australia and Asia
Shows: 15
  1. For EI it took some time no? They are in no rush anyway and can drag this on for a bit.
  2. I think JT 2017 they were quick to announce second shows? At least London anyway. IIRC.
  3. It looks like for EI they announced additional European dates on Jan 29th, GS happened on Jan 26th.
  4. they postponed both show after seul?

But if there is a second show in perth i think is on 26, the day before. And singapore on 30nov and 1st dec
  5. Singapore will be in between Perth and Tokyo.

There will only be one show in Singapore.
  6. Nothing is, but rumours have indicated that it won't happen. Its a big stadium as well, plus other acts also usually play one show.
  7. Melbourne still on for 2?
  8. Hi everyone.

I just went on Interference and found this post:

The crowds for the Tokyo/Korea/Singapore will most likely be expats. Especially Singapore.

Most born locals have never heard of the band, apparently.

Is it true that the band doesn't have legions of fans in Asia?

Is that why 360 never went to that part of the world?
  9. Sydney general sale isn't until 3pm local time so I'd say a second show won't be for a couple of days after. Can't see them adding it at say 6pm when people are on their way home.
  10. Yeah I'd say they'll wait a few days. It's not like the past, where they'd aim for quick sell outs, & use the hype of "second show sold out, third show added" to market the shows. Now it's dynamic pricing, expensive tickets, squeezing every cent out of fans. Before they reduce ticket prices if they're having trouble selling out.

I guess they'll delay an announcement for a while, & milk that show on Friday 22nd for what it's worth. Maximizing profits. Before adding the second show on the more enticing Saturday night.

Of course, if demand is high, & the show is a near sellout quickly (it's not a big venue), they'll add the second show very quickly.
