Joshua Tree Tour 2019
Legs (1): New Zealand, Australia and Asia
Shows: 15
  1. I've got some tomato 'sauce' ? Thats about as reliable lol

Seriously they should just can it and come out here at the BEGINNING of their next chapter , new album etc when they are enthused with new material that they think is going to make the world take notice in four old white dudes who play rock n roll , at least for us its exciting then and they hold onto the 'we have never sold out' mantra in terms of credibility!!

Im at peace with it all now !!
  2. It seems like this delay was a very last minute thing, don’t know if that’s better or worse but if the radio stations were even saying they had an announcement to make and that didn’t materialise it must have been over the weekend when things changed for whatever reason. The sponsorship explanation does seem plausible in general but makes less sense for a last minute change as you would have thought they would have wanted all that stuff finalised well before they’re at the point of announcements getting made. Strange one all round.

Maybe they forgot to tell the four band members who all seem interested in anything other than music at present as far away from one another as could be!
  4. I very much hope so. Lovetown30! Seriously though, commercially, I'd think a tour marketed as JT would be the most profitable tour.

    Hehehe

The band are still on there break just now, I wouldn’t imagine they would need to be working as a band again for a few months yet in preparation for the tour dates.

I don’t think it will be rebranded.

They would have to change the screen.
  7. I'd hope it would be rebranded, with a modification of the screen - no idea how difficult this is - the b-stage, & the catwalk.

I don't expect it to happen though
  8. They would have to have a new screen?

The tree is actually on the screen when it’s turned off. Like PopMart.
  9. I'm sure that in the past tours were delayed and cancelled all the time and we were all blissfully unaware. There was a lot to be said for it.

I'm not in the running for tickets this time out, but if I was, I'd be glad that the presales would now be after pay day for most people, rather than before.
  10. I don't buy into this whole sponsorship issue. That would be one of the first things you sort out, and the cost of tickets alone will still make this tour profitable. It wouldn't be leaked on TicketMaster either if there was major issues.

You never know, could be announced Tomorrow morning, as ticketmaster had the first pre sale starting on the 22nd.

Has there been previous tours whereby the 1st pre-sale is only 24 hours after the announcement?
