1. gee...Apple's watching out then...
I got the iTouch...it's a gift for someone, so I'm not opening it yet. The guy at the store I got it from (different store)...he told me it hasn't been hacked into yet, but it eventually will ...let's see...
the thing is that I don't think we can even get the free stuff from iTunes for it...

The chances are likely not for the hacking and the store, but I'm not sure. If Apple has used the same encryption method on the 2G touch as they did the 2007 classics and nanos, then more than likely it may never be hacked, as those iPods haven't been yet. It wouldn't surprise me at all if that was the case.

I was all ready to get the 2G (for the 32GB capacity) but not without Winterboard + Cydia or the other apps I use. If I remember correctly, I used a theme called Blue Tear at first, then switched over to the (RED) theme and now I use that Normal theme, and have the option to switch back to the original stock theme if I ever want to for some strange reason.

It's ridiculous to think if a country can sell something, they don't offer the expansion for it. It'd be like buying a car and the country having no petrol stations.
  3. Fellas....
I'm pretty sure that this has been asked here about a 100000000 times!!!
but I'm waaay to lazy to read all 1218 posts on the topic to find some guidance.. haha....

I jsut read that Ali got an ipod-touch recently..... I was wandering, what'll be your recommendation between:

    Ipod Classic: 120 GB
    Ipod Touch: 32 GB

  4. I guess it depends if you want applications / games, ability to use the internet through Wi-Fi and a touch screen with room for about 4000-6000 songs or a simple, straight music player with room for over 20 000 songs.

If you're interested check out the other brands like iRiver, Creative, SanDisk, Archos, Microsoft Zune etc. These players do a better job at many things than an iPod can, and can cost a lot less than the utterly ridiculous prices Apple command. The only way you can decide is to try it for yourself and if you like it or you don't, then look elsewhere.

    thanks a lot Drew!!
I just want to have some music..... not really interested in having all the games or internet... bummer is that we have no other brands to choose from here in Arg... although I'm not buying it here, I'll have someone get it for me in the US...
this is why: Price in the US 240
Price in Arg USD 750 (or more)

I'll try to look for those other brands you mention...
    thanks Drew!
