1. Sorry if I am interrupting...I will selfishly just ask my question
Could any of you guys refer me to a free and useful Adobe (Macromedia) Flash tutorial/guide? I mostly want to learn about making animations, but I am also interested in the other uses.

One more thing, Drew...has iPod Touch 2nd gen been jailbroken yet?

    thanks guys!

Don't know about the Adobe, but do know that the iPod touch 2nd gen on 2.x.x has been jailbroken, yes.

    It's OS 3.0 they're struggling with now...

Oh yeah and a new keyboard layout too, which is pretty cool-looking and better than the Apple one.

Sounds cool! I'll have to give it a look. I want to update mine soon, the Coldplay art (it appears only on the vinyl, not sure if I uploaded it or not) is getting old.

    Sweet.

3.0 OS is jailbroken and so is the 3GS as of last week. Just make sure you update to the very latest MobileSubstrate in Cydia if you're running any one of those - but you have to use RedSn0w now or you'll get a black screen of death. QuickPwn as far as I'm aware is discontinued. Essentially the same hole used from the 1.x firmware right through to 2.2.1 is what allows the jailbreak to push through and let you install unsigned apps.

iFile allows you to browse your iPod and edit system files and view PDF and other sorts of files - kind of like the most important app on there. All I know is until my core apps are working 100% and the battery isn't draining far too quickly, 3.0.1 comes out soon, then there won't be an upgrade just yet - chances are I'll have a new touch by then.

Not at all Ali. There's some on adobe.com I think I saw, but none overly comprehensive. About your best bet is to join a Macromedia forum and use their tutorials. They know all about it far better than I ever could.

Ok so I might be buying the iPhone sometime soon, the 3G S. How exactly would I have to hack it? Next question is about phones overall: I read your story about your unlocked phone, do those work better than locked ones?

    I think this is it.

They work better than locked ones because you don't have to have the operator stuff on it plus you can go to any network you like. That's pretty much it.

Alright, this is my theme that I use. The keyboard will be coming soon...

And...you have to get your own wallpaper too.

  8. Sweet! I'll check it out with that new keyboard as soon as it's upped.

    For the theme?

  9. The keyboard is here.

I have the theme at the top then the keyboard below in Winterboard.

I'll get it uploaded right now. Hold up...

Ah, it still must be something...I haven't used a different keyboard on mine yet, I actually haven't tinkered with it in a while...hmmm

The fun never stops. When you see it you'll notice how much I hate the default interface.

You use SBSettings too, don't you? I've got a theme for that too. I can't do much with the pinstripe background and the button and switches, but the rest...

Haha I hate the default too, it's just way too generic.

Of course! I think there are themes out there were everything is fully changed over, that's something I'd love to do with mine.
