1. hahaha the excitement!!

I'm loving/hating Windows8. I wish I could get rid of some of the annoyances and stick with the awesome parts. Oh well I will get used to it I guess.
  2. W8 is faster than W7. I dont use the metro apps, but i do like the Start / Search screen. Just press win-key and start typing, in W7 this worked but in W8 it works better imho.

  3. Currently holding the new Nexus 7 which arrived today. Beautiful device that has the finest screen I've seen on a tablet, an even quicker processor, lighter and thinner device, all for £199 (which I actually got for £149 because of Tesco). It shits all over the iPad Mini. It is everything the iPad Mini aspires to be. Google have really thrown a cat amongst the pigeons here – what a terrific tablet.
  4. Sergio, I know you have a Nokia cellphone and I'm considering buying one since my Sony X8 is almost useless. Any pros or cons I should know?
  5. New N7 is nice. Still waiting for a few specific apps before I can give up on the iPad mini though. A little too much bezel for my liking too but I can overlook that.
  6. I am also considering buying it The nexus 4 also dropped in price. 200 USD for the cheapest model...
  7. I've ordered a HTC 8x. If that doesn't work out I'll definitely get the Nexus 4 to replaced my cracked screen Galaxy Nexus.

A switch to a Nexus 7 could come round more quickly depending on how much I despise iOS7 when it arrives. Still love my mini though. Superbly built and the extra screen size really makes a difference. Not very high res but that doesn't bother me at all.
  8. I am quite sure that i will get the N7, just where and when is the question. The 32GB model can be ordered from Germany for 290 eur including shipping. While getting it from US can be done for 270 USD. Big difference.....
  9. I've never found storage to be an issue. I keep next to no media on my tablets and stream most of my music and film. I could get enough money selling my mini to buy The N7. I'd be worried that Android on a tablet won't be much good. I'm not overly fond of it on my phone as it is. First world problems and all that.
  10. It will be my first tablet, but I did read that there are not many tablet apps for Android yet. That seems to be the main problem compared to the iPad
  11. My main concern too. IPad has that all tied up. I'll keep the iPad for now. It has served me well.
  12. Maybe I'm just a rookie, but shit, I hate the lack of functionality of Apple products and the iPad (I have an iPad 4 and the second last generation of iPod video) - will never buy another Apple product again.
