1. Apples way has its pros and cons. I've rarely ever felt that my iPad is held back in anyway due to Apples way of doing things.
  2. That Nexus 4 price drop is great. Shame I ordered mine in February and got it for £239. However, they accidentally sent me the 16GB version instead of the 8GB, so I scored well there. The price drop almost indicates that they doing that to make way for the new Nexus 4, rumoured to be out sometime in October or November.
  3. The 4 should have plenty of life in it yet. I could probably live with the 8gb now that I have all my music up in Google Play. If the 8x doesn't work out then I'll be all over it.
  4. It will, I think I will keep mine until the Nexus after that comes out. I see no point in buying another Nexus 4 around 10 months apart.
  5. Fingers crossed the 8x works for me. Android bores me.

Apple has the best hardware out there, but surely the worst compatibility and accesibility out there too.
  7. Reading lots of positive Nexus 7 reviews. Keeping the iPad until ios7 and I'll switch if it's shit.
  8. N7 is the one I'm looking for, so thanks for the words Gerard
  9. The 8X is probably the best looking phone I have owned to date. Power button is poor which is annoying but so far so good on the latest Windows Phone adventure.
  10. Too similar to the high-series Lumias for me, and I also don't like HTC at all. How is the camera?
  11. Pretty good. Nothing special.
  12. As ever thought the WP8 annoyances are arriving thick and fast. Can't download files over a certain size using my data connection, no sleep timer in podcast apps, no variable playback speed, no orientation lock in the vast majority of apps. Darn.

What a bloody good looking phone though. And WP8 on a 720p display is fantastic. It will be an interesting week but a Nexus 4 is looking likely before long.
