1. There will be a download. Given the increasing demand for vinyl, it's pretty hard to find manufacterers these days, as you can see from the long time it took/ takes them to ship the last gifts.
  2. I think that pressing 2 cd's on vinyl would take it to 3 or 4 vinyl's maybe too expensive for them?

  3. Gloria and horse must be on there.

  4. It's cheaper if you renew before your subscription expires so I did that. When I did my mum's last year, I had the choice of the JT singles or the yet to be announced 2018 gift. Didn't get that this year. But I'll contact them later and see if I can change it

    Oh, I see. Sorry!
  6. Nice. Can’t argue with live material. Promising.
  7. Well they listened. A lot of fans wanted live recordings and complained about vinyls. So here we go. I personally don't care too much if we get a CD or a vinyl, as long as the content is good. And I'm much more excited about this than the last couple of gifts.
  8. Promising! Must be far better than the last two releases which I have still sealed and packed somewhere. Too bad I have no single device in my house that can play a cd though good there'll be downloads
  9. This is great! I’m sure there will be quibbles with the track list, but regardless of that this is exactly the sort of subscriber gift they should do every year. I don’t say it often, but nice job U2.com!

My hope is that it’s heavily weighted to the last two albums tracks - I really don’t need more versions of Beautiful Day, I Will Follow and Pride...but really hope to hear Cedarwood Road, Iris, Lights of Home and REALLY hope for Red Flag Day. Whatever...love new live tracks!

Wow, not having a vinyl/cassette player is alright and understandable, but a CD player? Not even a computer, a videoconsole? Really
