1. 27 days left to give us dispatch info, yes I am holding them to there word again despite letting us down in the past.
  2. Look on the bright side, it is known this month, they could have said very soon that it is much worse
  3. I'll hold out on renewing, and won't unless I hear they offer a Blu-Ray option or at least a Digital HD download is included.

Refuse to pay 50 for a DVD that will look horrendous in my equipment, is ridiculous that in 2020 they offer this option. Hell, even Metallica, back in 2010, offered released "Fan Can 6" which basically was a live video of a show in Copenhagen for their fan club. And guess what, people had the option to select DVD or Blu-Ray 10 YEARS AGO . The fact that they don't give people the ability to choose in 2020 is amazing, and no way I am shelling out 50 to have a concert DVD in the worst possible quality.
  4. U2 are releasing it on Laser Disc?
  5. U2 fans.......we are the worst.
Actually the Led Zeppelin die hards are worse from what I have heard. But we are right up there.
At least we still get to see our band live. So there is that.

any "die-hard" fans are the worst, Try to follow The Rolling Stones message bord and you'll get the feeling the Stones' fans are the biggest moaners. Follow Springsteen and you will realize the same about Springsteen's fans. Read the McCartney forum... the same. U2 fans are just no different. Nothing more, nothing less

What's makes us the worst for requesting that they release media up to modern standards? Is that too much to ask?

It is understandable to watch SD content for old stuff (ZootV, Popmart and Elevation DVDs), as no higher res copy exists, but for new shows filmed in 4K, a SD release is unacceptable in 2020, especially when it has already been broadcast in 4K in some places.
  8. someone just commented on U2's last post on Facebook: "Does it come with a DVD player?"

I was joking for the most part. U2 has such a large fanbase no matter what they do, there are going to be people unhappy about it. Would I have "preferred" a blu ray? Yes. Is it just killing me that it is on DVD. No. I think it is still a fairly cool gift.
I remember Propaganda days when we got "A" magazine about once or twice a year. It was all about first crack at tickets and/or great seats back then, and they were pretty good at that for the most part. But merchandise. Not so much. It's all about perspective. The glass is half full or is it half empty.
  10. maybe after a few months they will put it on youtube in 4k !!!
