    What they worry about imo is that copies of the masters or other studio quality outtakes might leak. And they're right about that.


    Agreed. I think as free promotion, though, it's pretty harmless. I certainly don't mind it, and neither does anyone else who downloads these clips.

    Most of them are songs U2 mentioned in interviews about their recordings for the new album, and some are 'confirmed' tracks as mentioned in an article by the Sunday Mirror (I believe) few days ago.




    I wonder if they saw a torrent with that same song list, because I know I did.

    Maybe the new album will be in limited edition inside a sexy boot?

    Interesting list but until it's from an official source...

    ...would be good to have an official version of "Mercy" out there. If they do put it on the new album, it'll be interesting to see what if any changes have been made. I love the 'version' that is out there floating around but still interesting to see if they improve on it or not.
