1. Thanks for the PM Remy, I'm in
  2. cant believe some are tipping for a Spurs v Everton draw. Hopefully the riots dont cause any games to be cancelled, theyve already postponed a few cup games that were meant to be played during the week.

They are arguing about cancelling the England - Holland friendly match as well because of the riots, would be very sad

    Update: it's cancelled
  6. If tottenham's game is postponed ill be shattered. ive been waiting 3 months for this, now its within a week and it might not happen.

  7. Too bad, if Spain would've lost from Italy and we won from England, we would have been number one in the FIFA ranking, first time in history..

  8. really hard that can happen

Eto'o seems to be on the way to Anzhi .. a mediocre russian team.
he'd lose the big football but he would earn over 20mil€

i dunt understand how some footballers move to worse teams just because they will be on higher wages. They are already earning more in a week then most people earn in a whole year.

It's all pretty mental. It will be an absolute coup as transfers go and one of the biggest shocks of the summer, but you can't help but be cynical when you hear about the fees being bandied about. It's documented that Eto'o sends much of his wage packet back to his family and community in Cameroon, but even then he's still pretty well off, so yeah you do wonder. That said, he's won virtually everything in the European game, and can't do much more on his own to help Cameroon progress as a national side, so it's perhaps logical that, for now, he's just going to see how much he can get in the kitty and set himself up for three lifetimes.
  11. yeh if he is giving it to his family/ community thats understandable.

Whats the latest with the EPL kickoff on the weekend, is it going ahead?
