And Scholes played a great game, he was free the whole time and gave United some rest (Good English ?) when they needed it. I really enjoyed seeing City loose but I still think they are better than United and that they are going to be the champions in the end.

The only goal for them now would be the league. For United the goal is league, FA Cup and Europa League. Alex Ferguson needs to admit that he needs to spend money in January though, if we strengthened our midfield, then it'll go all the way.

The Kompany red card, probably wasn't red. From his perspective anyway, from the view behind Nani, it looked reckless. In the heat of bitter rivalry, you won't catch me standing up for him though. Paved the way for a really enjoyable first half

In other news, FC Sion were deducted 36 points by the Swiss FA, thus allowing FC Basel to play in the Champions League and ending United hopes of being reinstated. Ajax, here we come!
  2. isn't City still in the Carling cup? .. maybe it counts very little, doesn't it? .. like Italy cup here .. or Europe league

Yeah they're in it but they won't be bothered by it or the Europa League.
  4. hard to predict who'll win the golden ball today ..

Probably Messi. Though for obvious reasons, would like to see Ronaldo win
  6. Hopefully Messi wins
  7. The FIFA World XI for 2011 is: Casillas, Alves, Pique, Ramos, Vidic, Iniesta, Alonso, Xavi, Messi, Ronaldo, Rooney

    Barcelona - 5
    Madrid - 4
    United - 2
  8. There isn't a fan of any club in the world that didn't smile when Henry scored ealier

  9. Henry is a legend, absolute model professional. Not in it for the glory, or the accorded. Just helping his old club out. That's what young players should aspire to be like.

  10. Except when he left out Ireland from WC 2010 with his hand ....
  11. I never really liked Arsenal or Henry, since they were the big rivals of Manchester United back then and because of Wenger, who I really dislike. But Henry is really a great, great player and it was nice to see him score again for Arsenal.
