    only one teame could go to africa and...betwen ireland and france, the referees "didn´t saw"
    thal double infraccion on the goal, OFFSIDE and a scandalous hand by henry.
    FIFA close their eyes to new tecnologies and the truth of the game. without that goal we couldn´t guesse either france or ireland went to world cup. but the way it was is a SHAME to footbal.

  3. So I came home now and watched the goals and was like WHAT THE FUCK??!!!. TV officials should definitely become a part of the game. Ireland were clearly ripped off.

  7. I don't think they are expecting to be granted a replay. I think its more a political thing. ie if they ask for a replay, FIFA have to come out and say "NO" and hence they will have egg on their faces and look foolish to the rest of the world.

    And the PLatini situation is even better as he will be seen to be biased. I hate him I really do.

    So I think its a case of put the cat amongst the pigeons more than anything.
  9. Not less than a year ban for Henry would do. If they can do it in F1 the FIFA could too. Never understood that this was tolerated. No wonder we see someone trying to score like that every week

    And yes a rematch is necessary.
