1. Yes, you have a general eye... and your eye is WRONG!

Seriously, I'm just fecking with you. I know you have more than a clue. I can see that a single cutaway with the neck inlays it has might have one consider that it might be a Gibson but... yeah

I can agree that PRS guitar look and sound great. But I am still not RUSHING to get one.

lol, seriously, it's not of the greatest concern (for either of us, I suspect) - I thought it might have been an LP, but we established that it was in fact a Maranello. What would be of more interest would be to know a bit more about Maranello, just 'cause I'm a bit bored lol - do they copy traditional designs but change them so they look slightly different? Or would it be fairer to say that they're as much a genuine company with original designs as are Gibson, Fender, Gretsch etc.??
  3. I've just played my first Stratocaster EVER!!!!!!!!!

A friend of mine has come back for a 2-years travel from the USA, and he's come with a Eric Clapton Strat!! When he knocked at my door with that darn great guitar on his right hand, I hardly could believe it. We've been playing the whole evening and right now he's leaving my house...

That guitar sounds GREAT and looks GREAT... I've fall in love with Strat again, after my Les Paul affair

    Here are some pics:

Maybe someone knows when and where was it made, I have the Serial Number (Z4035117):

I'm HAPPY right now. It's the first Strat I've played ever, and I've been craving this sensation way too much time

Just so you know, Sergio: It's illegal to marry a guitar...

Anyway, great pics...the Strat is indeed a beauty....

  5. I just figured, the Guitar is an inanimate object...

Granted there are no laws against, it. Although the Government probably never thought they would have to pass a bill/law against it lol....

Although a man in Wisconsin did try to marry a sheep a few years back...

(Could someone get us back on topic please?)

So yeah guitars, great pieces of kit aren't they?

    I want an Explorer...

  7. I've set my standards a little lower lol...

All I want is a Fender Mustang or a decent Telecaster.

  8. I'd love a Tele. or a Strat., but seeing as you can pick up a decent Epi. Explorer for £300 or so...slightly cheaper lol. A Gibson is on my future wishlist though lol...

I'm slightly stubborn, meaning that while I could own an Epi. Explorer right now, I would save up for "the real thing", you know what I mean? I'm not really in the market for a new guitar right now anyway. I've got other things I'd much rather spend my money on. Although I'm always on the lookout for a good deal...

I get you, everyone has their priorities and preferences...but yeah, you bastard lol - "I could own an Epi. Explorer right now", make me feel poor lol...
