    Agree.
  2. *bump* once again, because everyone needs to get this, a must-have

for someone who is not too much in love with ZooTV, I have to say that by now I've watched this show 7 times, and it's still growing on me!!
the video quality is awesome beyond words, given the time it was shot, and most of all the whole "atmosphere" of this concert makes me lean closer to the tv every time I watch it and within minutes I forget everything around me. The performance is so great, I feel like being there in the audience.

like I said, a must-have. I felt the need to come back and bump the topic so that maybe some more get their hands on this. highly recommended!!

once again, thanks Gerard, for providing us with the links for this show. truly awesome
  3. Glad someone shares my enthusiasm on this one. Stonking performance and what about Edges guitar work on Bad? And the crowd? Hard not to get excited by gigs like these.

is it better than the Joshua Tree LA gig
  7. Just got a chance to see this Gerard. Very impressive.

It's quite dark as you say (due to indoor venue) but it's a great snapshot of ZooTV's second leg and excellent for an audience shot. The bloke really did a great job! The boys were in form that night, particularly Bono. Really loved the whole show from top to bottom, especially Mysterious Ways, Wild Horses (haven't witnessed too many performances), Love Comes to Town, Bad and the entire encore.

    Just brillant. Thanks again!
I recommend this to anyone who's into ZooTV...well who isn't really?

BTW: Is that the first time Adam has introduced a song at a show?
  8. Adam introduced the song quite a few times on ZooTV. Thanks for commenting mate. Awesome show.
  9. Will we ever see Bono get lost in a performance in this way ever again? Just look at the energy he puts into those last few 'LIGHT MY WAYS!' at the end of Ultraviolet. God i hope he can love his own music like this again some time.

I want him to love WOWY like he used to. Also the passion in Streets in this show. I haven't seen that since the Elevation tour.

he just lived every song and just seemed to be enjoying himself. It was a joy to watch. This is definitely my favorite audience recorded gig.

It's only one example, but have you seen the video of the Honolulu gig? He starts crying during WOWY, I mean I don't know why in particular, but it must be related to the best part of 60k people singing a song he wrote almost 20 years ago at the time - I'm sure he still loves it, but I agree about Streets. Apart from the odd exception here and there, I miss the real grit after the first chorus when he starts singing "the city's aflood"...
