  2. Can't help falling in love....... and Vertigo. Unfortunately they didn't play Vertigo as a closing song in NZ, I was hoping they would. Sometimes they did during the tour.

  4. I attended 2 shows with different endings (Vertigo and '40') but I liked Vertigo more, though 40 had something.
  5. i went to brisbane and was disappointed with Kite, i really realy wanted Bad, and i was in the front row and was screaming "BAD" with all my mates!

    i would actually really want to see Electric Co. as a closer, one of their first big hits for me anyways

    however, the best close out sonf ive heard was at N.Z on the first night., One Tree Hill, right near the actual hill and when bono said he wants to pay respects to greg carroll, i wish i could have been there to hear that song live!

  7. 40 is a classic ending. I like that they used it as the closing song for some shows during the Vertigo tour.

    I think that Mothers Of The Disappeared" was another great song. U2 first played and closed with this song in San Diego on 14 April 1987.

  9. Love Is Blindness,for me the best ever.But then the Vertigo Tour mixed it up with the likes of 40,Vertigo,Bad,All I Want Is You,Kite etc. which in retrospect was pretty cool.

    Kite from Melbourne 18th November 2006 is not just a fantastic,almost unreal,kind of "Edge,where did that come from?" performance,but listening to this performance alone just takes me to another place,& superlatives don't do it justice. It's just an opinion,& I respect everyones opinion,but as mentioned previously,it is quite hard at times not to cry it's that beautiful.Sorry for rambling on...........

    I like Love is Blindness, Can't Help Falling, Kite, Vertigo, etc.
    But the definitive closing, in my opinion, is I Will Follow. Simply awesome. Just see Minnapolis 1981-04-09, for example.
