1. I cannot believe that there are rumours popping up about Argentina and Chile but not Brazil! =/

Do you guys think that visiting only these two countries would cover the costs to land on South America?

  4. I know that U2 can obviously sell out a 80,000 concert venue by themselves, but would they ever play at a huge music festival? If so, it would be cool to see them at Lollapalooza, Chicagos world famous 3 day festival. They wouldnt be able to bring in "the claw, though." The festival is usually the first week in August and they have a concert in early Aug 2010 in NY then in middle Aug in Denmark. Thoughts?

I'd love for them to do a festival, but I really doubt they'd be up for it. Just seems to me like they want a higher level of control over their performance environment than most festivals could afford them. I'd be willing to be wrong on this one, because I love music festivals, but I just can't see it.
  6. I think U2 are too expensive for a festival nowadays...but who knows? I'd love to be proved wrong

  7. Guess so..but I really hope they will play small clubs in 2018-2020 to say farewell and to relive the past, 40 years back..

A festival surrounding The Claw would be a great idea imho. You can get rid of the obvious layout where most people see shit. The Claw is the best thing on the market for shows imho, even outside the stadium. The stage itself is pretty modular so they can do what they want with it.

Oh, yes, the perfect solution. A farewell tour of one of the most important bands playing in small clubs? Imagine the MESS to get tickets...
