  4. I first heard this song on Letterman on Monday night and almost peed my pants it was so good. It is by far my favorite song on the album.

    Funny, at first listen, I rolled my eyes thinking he was going on about kneeling - lol! But I love the lyrics - "There's nothing you have that I neeeeeeeeeeeed"

    And that cello just kills me dead - it's so beautiful and soulful and deep and...

    I play it on the theatre sound system every chance I get.

    And I adore the line "I'm not gonna buy just anyone's cockatoo" Only Bono.

  6. About that - I love that the 3 things are never specified. Yes, it may be the Holy Trinity. But it doesn't have to be.

    Yea the great thing about U2. And ppl say the lyrics are weak.
  8. Yeah, I'm not saying every lyric is Shakespeare or anything but Bono surely does have his moments and there are no duds in Breathe, imo.
