By the way, regarding your actual post... Vertigo and COBL were instant stadium classics in my opinion. Vertigo is one of the most stadium rocker ever done by U2, and COBL is a real hit-kick-ass when played live (when well played live, I mean).

I love Breathe, it took me a bit, but now it's my second favorite song off the album
  3. it's the best song on the album and one of thier bests ever.
  4. Average song. The album itself amounts to way more than the sum of its individual parts though. Breathe will be nice in the stadium environment. Ditch the keyboard part though
  5. Strongly disagree. Edge's guitar is awesome, Larrys on fire and Bono sings like Rattle for me. Awesome That's very true, nd it shows how really good the album is. That happens with War and Achtung Baby, for example. Amen and amen, Breathe would be just 10/10 if that cheesy keyboard would have been thrown out (damn Eno - hate him )

i think eno ruined some more things on the album
  7. Eno's footprints are a bit too obvious here and there..
  8. I love the piano. without it wouldnt be as good as it now is.
  9. And that outro... that's really something... to blow up your stereo. Awesome.
