1. I think it's only natural that they have to use some of these things. I do appreciate it being limited as much as possible though. There's something extraordinary about live musicians actually making the sounds themselves as they perform.
  2. I can see how they want the songs to sound close to the album version, and I'm not a picky person about such things, so I don't mind.

When they get up on stage and start playing their music with computers instead of instruments, then I'll stop going to their shows. That'll never happen though!
  3. I don't mind prerecorded bits as long as they're used sparingly or not obvious. ie. unlike Coldplay where Chris Martin will play keyboard for a bit, and then hop around the stage while the music magically continues.

They can't do too much prerecording anyway, cause Bono's live additions and extra verses/choruses and all the other random stuff he does etc. would screw up with the timing.

Bono does his "random stuff" only at certain well- rehearsed moments during the songs. In fact, I doubt that most of his "random stuff" is as random as it seems.

I'm pretty sure most of it is thought out before the tour/gig
Snippets, Bono jumping in the crowd, getting girls on the stage, etc...all thought before the gig
    Because they are proffesionals
  6. Read an interview with Terry Lawless today, in which he states he's getting ready to prepare for the U2360 tour. Says it's gonna be his third tour with U2.

So he's definitely gonna do the keyboards, and I'm almost sure they're gonna "hide him" like on the other 2 tours...

What were the previous two tours? Zoo and Popmart?
  9. Anyone seen teleprompters at the shows? I'm sure they're there, but assume they're working on hiding them more since it's the 360 setup. At several points during Dublin 1, Bono was very obviously staring at the floor when singing certain songs...(The Auld Triangle comes to mind)
  10. He is very forgetful. I have seen a few times where he is looking at the lyrics. I have no problem with this, it just shows they are not perfect and It is an imperfection that doesnt bother me. For me it shows a vulnerability that for me is a quality of U2
