1. Cheers dude. The wee mic was overwhelmed by the sheer volume.

The disaster of getting home there has kerbed my enthusiasm for night 2. Might just hold off for Dublon.

Ah well, it's just great to have them back on the road, and I for one am buzzing for them to hit the UK!

I have been to two opening nights(Lakland 92 and Miami 2001 plus an early Popmart) and they always suck it up a bit. I dont care how much you practice its going to take at least a solid month or more for them to start nailing the set. And look how they change from opening night until the end. They will drop some and add some. And if you think live you heard some screw ups wait til you hear the actual boot. It will be worse. I went to Atlanta March 2001 and was so excited about the soundboard that came out here recently. I remember that show being so perfect. Wow did the boot change my mind. So with all that said Im glad they are starting in Europe so when I see them 3 times in Sept. and Oct. they are rock on. But hey life is so much more fun when U2 are touring.

  4. How did Unknown Caller sound?

  5. Even despite the sound overwhelming the mic, it was well worth sitting at my computer for a few hours waiting for each live feed to come. Gerard, you gave me an opportunity to relive that energy I experienced back in '92 on the Zoo TV tour! ¡Mil gracias and hope you had a great time!
  6. hey gerard and co. whats this I hear about Bono calling out Edge in front of the crowd? That makes me a little annoyed.

  7. Kernel, this vid has decent audio of Unknown Caller. Not tonight's show but a good one nonetheless

    Edited:
