1. I guess you actually ask whether it's a raw live broadcast or a post-processed broadcast?

  2. Sort of, there were 2 broadcasts yesterday, one from a Polish radio station, that one was a genuine live broadcast, and the one that was broadcasted on U2.com, Q, (www.iloveu2ontheradio.com) and that one was delayed with half an hour or so but sounded much much better than the Polish broadcast.

    Yes, I know

I'm afraid it's my bad but this topic ends in an incredible amount of miscommunication

  4. that stems from too many versions of the same thing. Hopefully u2torrents ban all of those web feeds
  5. I'm now rested and rejuvinated after what was easily the best concert I've ever been to.

absolutely amazing. the setlist was great, the light show was spectacular, the atmosphere was really nice and Bono's LED jacket was even cooler in person.

my Dad loved it, and said it may well have been better than the Zoo TV show he caught back in '93.

Ultraviolet was a definite highlight. it was something of a dream come true seeing them perform my favourite song ever live, given that a year ago it would have seemed out of the question. I loved how Bono kept swinging on his fancy new microphone during it.

I'll definately be picking up the bootleg as a nice souvenir.
  6. ill have an audience recording of this ready soon, for all you collectors out there
  7. Just recovered from last nights epic show. Yorkshire crowds are the best and that's coming from a Red Rose person!

There was definately a Def Leppard snippet in one of the tracks last night when Bono was singing pour some sugar on me, not heard the bootleg back yet but it was in there.

    Top Show, Top night!
Definately impressed with Bono's LEDman Poetry. The way he performs UV and WOWY has a real intimacy even in such a large space. Anyone who thinks that WOWY sounds tired is wrong, it's just a different interpretation.

There was traffic chaos last night in Sheffield, so I hope everyone who went got back safely!

Wow. I'm started to think this might have topped Wembley 1 for me, which is saying something - Streets tonight was possibly the best moment of my life, coming only a week after ISHFWILF in Wembley last Friday. Seriously, such a great gig. Started off a bit lowkey for me, sat facing the stage, me and my mate were wanting to stand up etc. but the people behind us (the only ones in the entire stadium who seemed to want to sit the entire gig) were being arsey, but when ISHFWILF came on we just said fuck it and got up and sang our nuts off. Then he noticed a gap in the block next to us and we sidled over, much better block, so much energy. Great night, atmosphere pre-gig was mental, pretty polished performance, place was rocking from what I could see, really took off when the big numbers kicked in but like I said, Streets tonight - damn you anyone who says it ain't dead. And you guys wouldn't have seen Edge run most of the way around the walkway, so fantastic. Argh. Yeah the set was the same as Wembley 1 and Glasgow but no one cared, we lapped it up. I feel privileged to have been there, can't wait to hear the broadcast if someone converts it into a bootleg. On the drive back me and m'mates were having a good sing-song to the '90s-'00s Best Of. Funniest bit of the night has to go to my mate Adam mistaking the first mask he saw to be a David Mitchell mask lmao...deary me.

Great night, great night. Hope you guys got a feel for it on the radio feeds I'm trying to browse through the thread to get some idea of what you guys were getting, how did it come across from where you all were? Aside from this apparent Elevation/WOWY malarky lol? And Gloria was DEFINITELY snippetted in Streets, loved it

again, glad you had a good time at the concert, harry
things were insane over here, lol. everyone was glued to their headphones/speakers and, for me, it was just amazing.. knowing that thousands of people around the world listen to that concert, live, and experience it (partly) with the people who were there. kinda epic.

also, I said this could possibly have been the best show, performance-wise (from what I could hear), so far. some immediately disagreed, but I think, knowing that they were live!live, the band lifted it all up one notch. there was that spark of magic, which even came through my headphones.

am currently downloading the bootleg btw. thanks for the quick upload, can't wait to listen to it again
  10. Nice to hear a different selection of songs over PA between Elbow and U2 - amongst them I remember Pulp , Human League, Baby Bird , Arctic Monkeys , all Sheffield bands . Maybe all if the music was Sheffield bands .
