1. just listening back to the bootleg; does anyone else hear Bono say "to the Whiteley family" during MW?

I swear to God my brother and I both heard him say that last night.
  2. I feel like I've gone overboard with downloading from this tour...but I think I'm going to get this anyway, lol. I've got Barca 1, Milan 1, Amsterdam 2, Dublin 3, Zagreb 1, and some songs from Berlin and Barca 2. And now I've got Sheffield. Whatever. Thank God for big hard drives on computers, right?
  3. Best night ever, my first U2 show and even after listening to loads of bootlegs and watching loads of footage from the current tour nothing could prepare for how awesome that was going to be.
  4. Okay, perhaps I'm a dunce, but I listened to Streets on the boot and didn't hear the Gloria snippet...where was it, again?

  5. He must have said the Whiley family because Jo Whily and her family were there last night. I heard he say on Raido 1 today.

I though the show was class and i'll give my full review in a bit!!!
  6. And WOWY wasn't altogether that bad last night, which is nice. Hope they play it like that (or with Shine Like Stars) in Chicago.
  7. couple of photos from last night. I'd upload them to the photo pages but I don't think they're that great in quality, so I'll put them here instead.

  8. right at the end during the outro
  9. Does anyone have the setlists for what The Hours and Elbow played?

  10. Somebody had a huge sign at the front of the rail last night that said "Play Gloria Please", Bono presumably saw this and just snippeted it in...
  11. My rewiew of the show from Block 1:

    1. Breathe: Well I loved how the drums kicked us off and then The Edge and Adam came up playing their guitars then Bono came on to get it all started. I do like this song but I'm not sure it should be the opener, I think Get on Your Boots should be the opener and Breathe should be later on in the show. Saying that I thought Edge's guitar solo was amazing and spot on! 4/5

    2. No Line on the Horizon: Very rocky, great with the crowd sing along and I loved it! 5/5

    3. Get On Your Boots: I haven't always been a fan of this song but I think it was much better than the album version, one of the best songs of the night, the best live song from the new album. 5/5

    4. Magnificent: I was impressed again, love the start with dwwwvvv and the lights go out then come back again. Well sang, another great guitar solo 4.5/5

    5. Beautiful Day: The best version I've ever heard of Beautiful Day in my opinion, loved it, jumping and going wild for the chorus, like everyone else. 6/5

    6. Elevation: Woowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww 6/5

    7. ISHFWILF: Probably the best song of the night, the whole crowd singing, people who have been to other shows will know what I'm saying just wow, words can't say! 7/5

    8. Stuck In a Moment Acoustic: Lovely version really enjoed listening to this, very spirtitual 4/5

    9. Unknown Caller: My favourite song from the new album and I LOVED every second, from the twittering birds of Morroco to the last night of Edge's solo which I have to say was utterly amazing!!! 5/5

    10. The Unforgettable Fire: Great, probably night as good as the 25 years ago version but it still had the same feel, where you can just close your eyes and lose yourslef in the music 5/5

    To Be Continued...
