    As far as vacation goes, it's been off to a less-than-great start...I'm an avid water skier up here, and on my very first lap around the lake this year, I took a terrible wipe-out, during which the ski flipped off of my foot and the one of the bottom fins of the ski (made of metal) sliced across the back of my head and gashed me completely open. Ended up in the emergency room up here, and got my head stapled closed (hurt like a BITCH, but I'm a guy, so naturally being able to say "i got my head stapled closed" is pretty cool)...so no water for the rest of the trip. Pretty bummed, but now I've got my U2 to look forward to, and I might even take a trip into town today and pick up Arcade Fire's new album.

    Just wanted to check back in, share my excitement for the tour, and let you know about my battles wounds All is well otherwise, just a few nasty headaches and head-wraps, but I'm hanging in there and actually letting some U2 shows I haven't listened to in awhile pull me through. Nothing like the healing power of a great live U2 experience, taped or in the flesh.

    Hello there Matt Well, there has been alot happening this week that you've missed. Some rehearsed songs, and that other song rehearsed too...

    Now that accident sounds horrible Hope it heals soon though

  2. Welcome back, Matt, but let me tell you something. there are people who are avoiding possible spoilers and don't want to hear about soundchecked or rumoured songs... And they come to neutral threads like this one!! Please help us keeping neutral threads free of spoilers too I have edited your post, just to make sure that no one gets spoiled

    PS. Sorry about your accident! I hope you're fine - although I guess you are, since you're writing here with your usual sense of humour

  9. I hope indefinintly. Its really gone to hell. I sent Yogi a nice PM, continuing the arguement though. I figure if we keep it private, and civil, no one should have any arguements.

  11. Hope it stays closed forever, it's just an argument tank that never goes anywhere. There are politics discussions websites; this is a U2 website. Fun to talk about other things with people that share the love of U2, but politics seems to rarely be one of them around here. Don't see what good it does to keep open.

    Especially a dedicated one. If something really important happens, someone will probally bring it up in here.
