Me neither, but I was just thinking there were also a LOT of rumours (or even half official statements) that Moment of Surrender would be the 4th single. And that didn't happen until today. So that's why I'm gonna be careful with any new single rumours.

i think it was that Vinyl boxset that made us hold out hope, It said 4 singles then only 3 were released. Though i guess it all based around commercial success
  3. I am hoping that the new CD will be out in March, what a great month that would be.....new U2 cd, new Dropkick Murphy's cd and St Patrick's Day.......
  4. All I hope is that they don't screw up like they did with NLOTH... it's a great album, I really like it, but the middle section brings me down a bit... Crazy Tonight, SUC and GOYB don't fit in there... I hope that on the new album they keep everything flowing, with a theme and a sound... not just a bunch of things glued together... I guess what I'm trying to say is: If they are to make the three albums one, that it is well done!

Yes, they should release the new U2 album on St. Patrick's Day!
  6. Any latest on the song "Soon"? I fuckin love the sound of that song.

  7. released on Vinyl as part of a special edition u2360 dvd box set, probably making it certian that its not on the album.
  8. They shoulda done a Rattle and Hum-esq thing and released a cd with studio versions of all the new stuff, and sum other live stuff from the tour. then release an album with 10 or so brand new, unheard, songs

You just know Crazy Tonight at Croke Park will be on there somewhere.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was a B-side. Although I'm looking forward to, if it does happen and if it's still set as said, Every Breaking Wave as first single.
  10. 3rd times a charm Drew

  11. For the Croke Park performance? Nothing beats the Jacknife Lee mix of Fast Cars for re-usability. How many times now?

  12. yup i duno how many releases Fast Cars has been on, i can recall 2 or 3
