  6. It says that Paul McGuiness' quote is from the MIDEM conference, which was held between January 23rd and 26th. So that's fairly recent.

    McGuiness states that they're putting the finishing touches on the album, and it should be released before the North American leg starting in May.

    Danger Mouse is producing the album, which will probably NOT be called Songs Of Ascent.

    At Midem assured U2 manager Paul McGuinness talks to Music Week that the new album the group is largely completed. It is against the other North American tour dates in May on the market yet to come.

    The band was in the studio in southern France about to miss the songs the finishing touch, "said McGuinness. Brian Burton aka Danger Mouse is seized of the production. That should take the new work entitled "Songs of Ascent", as rumored in the past several months is unlikely.
