  4. Highly debatable. Even if one accepts that the constitutions of the western world are based on christianity, there's a huge difference between those constitutions and a constitution that follows the sharia -even in a moderate form.

    No, but we arent making religion laws. Thats why we are not throwing stones when someone cheats on his/her partner. Here we divorce. Also its ilegal to sacrifice your son if you hear voices telling you to.

    Am I the only one thinking that we may be expecting to much of these new democracies. We didn't become perfect democracies over night.

    I doubt theres such a thing as a perfect democracy. Indeed, most are actually democratic republics.

    No. But you seemed quite happy with the changes in the arabic world. Others are a little sceptical and think that "we" might be putting out a fire with gasoline.
