1. No. I heard there's a movie being made of the book I mentioned above though.. could be amazing.
  2. RIP Icefilms
  3. SOPA and PIPA protect everything lol lol
  4. FBI says this ain't connected to SOPA and even less to yesterday' protests, but to my eyes it seems like a really obvious statement about it. "Protest what you want, we don't give a f****g damn; in fact, look, watch closely: we're closing MegaUpload"...

Of course copyright infractions are obvious and blatant all over the net and MU was the paradise of it, but I think shutting down the hosting servers is not the way.
  5. In fact, I support the 'punish-the-downloader' policy that France was about to install (or already installed). That is the ONLY way to avoid people illegally downloading content. I'm not talking about getting someone who downloads an illegal album into jail, but economical sanctions would be really, really useful. We find 5GB of illegal content downloaded to your PC = you pay XYZ $; we find 500GB = you pay 100·XYZ $. Who'd want to download then?
  6. How about if you're caught with an illegal song you pay the 99 cents that it costs on Itunes. Instead you can download an album and pay $100,000 in fines. It's cheaper to get caught shoplifting a CD.

Does anyone believe the used CD stores in the 90s paid any royalties out for selling CDs that were already bought once?
