    Your country claims to be gods country and the greatest country in the world, so there's a lot of info to gain. Especially when you're studying history in college. So I do know some things about the workings of America, although I don't know everything (which would be impossible).     And yes, other countries do have big problems, but in my opinion they are problems in a different degree. Smaller countries do have smaller issues to deal with, especially if these countries are more unified and have a strong centralized government

    God's country? We don't claim that, we're not a theocracy. At least read the Constitution of my country before you make claims like that.
  4. USA is just as much a country as the EU is. Only their states have a little less power, but their federation is more democratic than the EU.
  5. I really love when people generalize about America, and how many problems we have. I understand there are issues, but what country doesn't? Also, sure, there's a lot of info on America. I'm open to criticism. However, if you're going to make statements about America, at least be factually correct about them. If you don't, it makes you look really ignorant and misinformed.

    I don't know much about the EU, but with the Patriot Act and NDAA the states have lost power in the past ten years.

    Here are two facts... your murder and gun crime rates are high. Especially the gun crime. You have a very big prison population. Nine times higher than Sweden per capita.

    They are high, but there are plenty of countries with higher murder rates. Same goes for gun crime rates. The prison population is the highest in the world, though. Louisiana's incarceration rate is 3 times that of Iran, and the seven times that of China.
  9. Well... Most of the countries with worse rates are much poorer and less developed and therefore not really comparable with the US. You should be one of the countries in the top.

  11. Poor and less developed usually does. I think the US, Canada, Australia and the wealthier European nations (and some other countries) can be held to higher standards than most countries.
  12. I disagree, 4 bikes stolen in the family. 1 car packed for the holidays, 1 break in and an attempt on the next car. When I go to holidays in poorer countries, people leave their door open at night and many times when they leave. Here you will wake up in a stripped house.

    Think individualistic societies suffer much more crime than more 'family' oriented society.
