Man, I feel like a beer.

i said quite impossible and you never know with Mark hehehe

Mamasan Bren posted this yesterday on the PearlJam.com forums, he met Mike McCready at a Flight to Mars show in Las Vegas:

Following up on the Mad Season news from that interview, [Mike McCready] does have a commitment from a singer now. I have to say that a billion Coronas and a stiff rum and coke wiped out the name he said. I want to say a Lanigan or Flanigan or something like that, but am just not able to recall, but he said that he was pretty much lined up to record for their release later this year. Also, that the work with Sony to free up the rights to some of the unreleased tracks was definitely in progress.

John posted this on the PearlJam.com forums a week ago:

Well I just spoke to Mark Lanegan last night and I posed the question of his potential involvement in the upcoming Mad Season projects and he said “Yes. I will most likely being doing some stuff with them.” I had to ask. There is an answer from the man himself delivered with a magnificently sly grin.

oh if only it will really happen ...
  4. and probably that's only me interested hehehe but ...

Mudhoney tweeted this: Mudhoney is recording a new album at Avast Studios in Seattle, WA, if you didn’t know about it…

    i'm so excited about it

EDIT: and on monday i should go to see them!
  5. Ronnie, you are a true fan of the grunge era.
  6. As great as the 2005 Halifax show was, it's time to move on - to Vancouver.

I'll listen to the two St. John's shows in the near future. I haven't dowloaded them yet.
  7. I really like the Vancouver show....one of the better ones from Canada 2005. Great set...lots of hits!
  8. Ed.

I have gone through the last few hundred PJ posts and pulled out all of your 2005 reviews. So far you have completed (extensive) reviews on the shows from Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, Hamilton, Kitchener, London, and Halifax (Did you do a review of one of the St. John's shows? I may have not gone far enough back in the thread.)

I will use them in a few weeks/next month to create the 2005 mix. However, I still have six shows (Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, and St. John's (x2)) to listen to myself.
  9. Hey Matt..yes I did review the first St Johns gig..I believe that was the first show I that reviewed...

    Montreal is next.....
  10. I will go back and get it so I can add it to the "archives."

I'm downloading Edmonton as I type. I figure that I might as well complete the 2005 shows before moving on to 2009.

  11. Found it (from 19 days ago). The review is shorter than the others. Also, the encores are mentioned in the same post.
