1. Did you know that fan club members get first access to tickets before the public? Become a member today and be eligible for pre-sale ticket drawings. Might want to sign up sooner rather than later..

This was posted on their Facebook page on Friday.....hmmmmmmm
  2. Do you mean that I can get tickets sooner through ticketmaster? If so, I suppose I'd consider getting a membership. However, I have a feeling that they WON'T be passing through Toronto this fall so the membership might be all for naught. That said, maybe they'll come through in the spring - and the membership is good for a year.

Would the less expensive "digital" membership be good enough?
  3. To secure tix..yes. My problem was with the old system. Im not sure if this new one works, as I haven't tried it yet.

It has to be better then the old way...that was a joke.
  4. So when do they usually announce dates - on Tuesday?
  5. Its been so long Matt..I couldn't say.....
  6. ^Ha!

In case any of you are wondering/interested, it looks like the three 2013 bootlegs are coming. In fact, the first one (Sao Paolo) is here:
    http://pearljam.com/goods/product_info.php?cPath=11_13&products_id=1812

I'd be willing to split the three boots three ways but I don't think I'm all THAT interested in them anymore. The setlists are varied enough.
  7. Speaking of South/Latin America, have any of you taken them time to listen to the 2005 shows? I've read good things about them - and they're free on pearljambootlegs.org. There's only 13 or so shows so I think I might (eventually) given them a go once I'm done listening to all of those 2000 bootlegs.
  8. I never got into those shows, from SA '05.

I loved the 2005 Canadian tour, the SA gigs seemed to be an extension of the Canadian shows, and just more of the same.

Which is the case with these new boots. They are essentially playing the same songs since 2009......they need some new material to give these sets same variation.

There really isn't a difference between the Euro '10 and Euro '12 shows. IMO the shows from 2012 in Europe were amazing...and superior to the 2010 Euro gigs.
  9. The main reason I prefer the Euro 2012 tour to the Euro 2010 tour relatively simple: I followed it.

Also, they played a wider range of songs in 2012 compared to 2010 - in Europe, anyway.
  10. I listened to the studio version of Inside Job today. Haven't done that in a while, as I usually only listen to PJ live (same with DMB). What a great track.....underrated IMO in the PJ community....would love to see this brought back and see Got Some dropped (die).

    Carry on PJammers.....
  11. A new PJ20 source has surfaced. This one is courtesy of a taper named coffeecup who was in section 203. To my ears, it's a tad better than the original source.
