  2. Sang Mysterious Ways doing karaoke last night. Pretty fun stuff! Some girl there did an amazing rendition of Piece Of My Heart by Janis Joplin, it was pretty damn wicked, like she sounded just like Janis. The guy doing the karaoke even said "I've heard a ton of people attempt that song, and NO ONE has blown it out of the park like you just did, congrats!" Fun night!

  4. Standing in the usual traffic jam after a game at Schalke arena. We beat Wolfsburg 4:0, it was power football from the first minute. One of those rare days I just LOVE being an S04 fan,we had some bad games lately. Snow is falling heavily here and its quite some driving distance back. home. - but hey, beautiful day :-D
  5. Karaoke is so much fun. POMH is pretty hard to do - most Janis songs are because she just has that voice that nobody should be allowed to have. Up there with Tina Turner and Rob Halford - that good.

    I tried Hallelujah a few weeks back. I couldn't even keep up with the song, I think they had it a bit too fast.

  10. That third one is the finished one - I've lost the original project file, so I can do no more with it (unfortunate, 'cos I'm not really into the drums here). I figured why not add two minutes of a really over-the-top synth section to flesh it out.

    Thanks! That's the sort of style that I want these next few pieces to go in...complicated sections-like.

I've sang in a band for the past few years and according to my friends I'm quite a good singer (I don't like to outright say that I am - I CAN sing), so usually I can get a good response out of them. Actually, the girl who sang the Janis Joplin song really well walked past me and said "I really liked your song, good job!" So there!
