I was listening to a super-boring radio station for many minutes until it came up. I remember I listened to it with my GF and we were like "WTF?!" when it finished. I was super excited for it (the first U2 release I had ever eagerly waited for) and the weird nature of the song helped to built the excitement to the album. Then, the 90% of the album overshadowed GOYB and I never liked it anymore

I was watching the Brits and they played it. I was with a big group of friends at the time, and I was like "Bono wearing make-up, this song sounds woeful... WHAT HAPPENED?!"

edit: stopped bidding, price went far above face value. there are still other tickets on offer. patience, patience....

ESC=Eurovision Song Contest

Music competition that pretty much all of Europe participates in. Mainly features cringeworthy pop, when it doesn't, it's some other cringeworthy song, very rarely a good song appears, but loses.

I think it'll be tomorrow. Still don't know, have an idea what it might be. But even then, I could be wrong.
