Hey, I just met you and this is crazy, but here is my number, so call me maybe?

Dont work. I've known her over 5 years. 3 year gap in there where we never saw each other is probally why I'm not in the friendzone to the 10th degree.
  2. So any advice about how to avoid the friend zone in this situation?

  3. Why the fuck would you eliminate my damn nickname??? ¬¬

  4. Hahaha, I eliminated 3 of your favorite songs in 2 moves... I'm clearly ahead
  5. Totally worth it.
  6. My current message draft:

"M(its her first initial. I'll tell you her actual name if it ever gets anywhere), about your stress issues, I've had to deal with depression, and anxiety in the past. I know its not actually the same, but if you ever need to talk to someone, I wont turn you away."

Also considering including an apology, since I initially came off kind of disinterested initially when I ran into her. When she opened up I gave her my undivided attention, and made sure to compliment her when I parted.

    Any suggested changes?
  7. I think the apology is a nice gesture as long as its brief and sincere and not overdone, which I know you're not a fan of anyway.

Something though, to be honest, turns me off about "I wont turn you away". I really like "Just know that I'm here for you if you need me", let her know you want to be there- not that you simply "wont turn her away". That doesn't sound entirely welcoming.
  8. Just know that I'm here for you if you need me does not really work for me. What to do for that, seems Iike my main thing to work on. I'll listen seems like it could work.

    3rd draft coming up.

I have more imediate issues today. My film club is about to get official recognition. I've been working on this over a month.
  9. Lucky Aaron, it's not that hard to win a girl's heart...
