    Yes. And I think that is why SOI was mostly misunderstood (I reckon the same will happen for SOE). Bono said that they wanted to make 'simple' songs, and a lot of the reviews of SOI criticised them for making 'standard U2 songs', and then Bono said these reviewers didn't get it because that's exactly what they wanted to do, they wanted to make great, simple, snappy songs (which I think they did, but SOE is way better at it).
