Probably a mix of both

I've always thought that the songwritting on "the bomb" was of their usual standard, but the production was too "shiny" and stripped away some of the depth that makes a good U2 song into a great one.

For the matter I have no issue with Dutch people whatsoever but merely stated his nationality (as a prelude to what I consider him to be) to indicate the person I was referring to. I don't pretend to know a lot about this person, other than that he happens to play for a U2 tribute band, apparently is a 'fanatic', just happened to "coincidently" show up on the beach where Bono was based at the exact moment Bono was blaring out music and of course his nationality.
Nor do I pretend to be a more knowledgeable or passionate fan than any of you. I'm sure my collections and respective knowings pales in comparison to a great many of you. But in supporting this guy I feel you've let yourselves down and perhaps should have respected the wishes what the band would surely have wanted (can't imagine Larry appreciates this kind of thing).
Finally bootlegs are not the only way he may have made money out of it. Maybe it wasn't money or fame or raising awareness for his band or even a story to tell at the local; maybe it was altruism.
However, just because he posts on this forum occasionally doesn't make him honest, or a liar for that matter.
But when I hear that a proven U2 fanatic shows up just at the right time to hear Bono play music loudly in his own supposedly secluded house on a beach, can any of you really say I'm wrong for being so skeptical?

Simply responding to those who dismissed what I had to say as well as dismissing the clips as a "leak".

5 months later - still the same bullshit.

so what are u saying the clips were deliberately leaked?

No. If you read previous posts on this topic one of the counter-arguments put to me was that these beach clips were not to be considered as an album leak as they were of poor quality. Simply; I was told they are not "leaks"
My point is that is the band do consider it a leak, as stated in the recent interview with Q magazine.
Frankly I didn't see much point in the debate as trivial as that but I still count it as worthwhile to stand up for myself in such a situation.
